First Impressions
Walking into Riviera by Isrotel Collection, I was honestly a bit surprised by how fresh everything felt for a three-star property. The lobby has this clean, modern vibe that doesn’t try too hard — you know what I mean? It’s not flashy, but there’s definitely thought put into the design. The staff at check-in were genuinely friendly, which already set a good tone for my stay in Eilat.
Location & Getting Around
The hotel sits right on North Beach, and I mean right on it — you can literally see the Red Sea from most of the building. What’s great about this spot is that you’re close enough to walk into town when you want restaurants and nightlife, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the chaos of the main tourist strip. The promenade is maybe a 10-minute stroll, and honestly, that walk along the water is pretty nice anyway.
The Room Experience
My room faced the sea, which — let’s be real — is why you’re staying here. The decor is simple but comfortable, nothing fancy but everything works. The air conditioning was solid (crucial in Eilat), and the bed was actually pretty decent. I appreciated that they didn’t go overboard with decorations; sometimes hotels try too hard and it just feels cluttered.
Dining & Amenities
The breakfast buffet at their main restaurant was better than I expected for a three-star place. They had the usual Israeli breakfast spread — lots of fresh vegetables, cheeses, breads — plus some hot options. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely filling before a day at the beach. There’s also a pool area that gets busy during peak hours, though honestly, with the Red Sea right there, I spent most of my time on the actual beach.

What could be improved: The smell when we got into the room
The property was very near the beach with lots of restaurants nearby. The pool in the hotel was a good size and lovely and quiet at this time of year.
The room was a good size with a hob, microwave
and kettle and fridge. So we could make our own breakfast.
All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
What could be improved: Nothing really. Would have liked a little toaster.

As always, we had a very comfortable stay in this hotel. Even though it is not the newest place, everything works well there. The location is amazing, staff helpful.
We came for a family vacation and very much enjoyed staying for a few days. We liked the location a lot, very close to the beach and within walking distance of most places. It's very convenient having a small kitchen with utensils in the room, as we don't eat out often and making food in the rood is easy and convenient.
The pool was good for a swim and to cool down, with plenty of beds around to catch some sun.
Overall we had a great stay and would come back again.
What could be improved: One night the people staying in the room next door were very loud. The noise insulation wasn't great, or maybe the guests were a lot louder than normal.
The other two nights we had no issues and very much enjoyed our stay.

What could be improved: The pool is not heated during the winter - so the kids cannot go inside
The kitchen tools are very old and need to be changed (pan, etc.) Bring your own if you'd like to cook for yourself meals and take the room with the garden for extra air circulation:)

Very clean rooms, the hotel had many options for entertainment and the children had fun playing games in the hotel lobby, the convenience store in the lobby was very nice and provided basic necessities, we had a lot of fun, the hotel is in a very good location and is walking distance from everything
The location was wonderful and the staff were very nice and accommodating, I was with my family and we enjoyed every minute of our stay, the rooms were big and very clean, I'm very happy, 10/10 would come back again 😊
