Hotel Astral Nirvana Club- Half Board
Your Eilat Retreat
First Impressions
Hotel Astral Nirvana Club- Half Board sits right in the heart of Eilat on Shfifon Street, and honestly, it’s one of those places that surprises you. This unique boutique hotel doesn’t chase after official star ratings — it just does its own thing, and you know what? It works. The moment you walk in, there’s this laid-back vibe that feels distinctly different from the cookie-cutter resort chains you’ll find scattered around town.
The Neighborhood Feel
What I really appreciate about the location is how it puts you right in the mix of things without being overwhelming. Shfifon Street isn’t some touristy strip — it’s where you’ll actually see locals going about their day. You’re a quick walk from the Red Sea beaches, but far enough back that you won’t hear the late-night beach parties. The restaurant scene around here is pretty solid too, with some hidden gems tucked away in the nearby streets that most tourists never discover.
Your Space
The room I stayed in had character — and I mean that in the best way. Nothing felt mass-produced or overly polished, but everything worked exactly as it should. The half-board setup is actually quite thoughtful here; they’re not trying to lock you into eating every meal on-site, but what they do provide feels genuine rather than rushed. The beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up checking the time, and the air conditioning runs quietly — crucial detail when you’re dealing with Eilat summers.
The Half-Board Experience
Here’s where Hotel Astral Nirvana Club really gets it right. The breakfast spread isn’t trying to be everything to everyone, but what’s there is fresh and satisfying. I mean, you’ll find the usual suspects — eggs, bread, coffee that doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since yesterday. Dinner offerings rotate enough to keep things interesting if you’re staying more than a few nights, and the staff actually seems to care whether you’re enjoying your meal.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this isn’t the kind of place where you’ll find a massive pool complex or a spa with twenty different treatments. What you get instead is something that feels more authentic — a place where the staff knows your name after the second day, where parking isn’t a daily struggle, and where you can actually relax without feeling like you’re being constantly sold something. The 8.3 rating makes sense when you experience it firsthand; guests appreciate that genuine hospitality over flashy amenities. It’s the kind of spot where you’ll find yourself planning your next Eilat trip before you’ve even checked out.

Guest Reviews
Great food
Great service
Excellent facilities
What could be improved: Air conditioning in room was hard to regulate.
The staf and the service
What could be improved: Dinners
Most everything was very good.
I was pleased with the room. Clean and roomy enough
The meals (half board) were very good -- great selection and plentiful. Breakfast kept us going until dinner. And the dinners saved us the bother of leaving in search of kosher restaurants. Very pleased.
The staff were very nice, most especially the reception staff (Dina and Lital)
The covered, heated pool was very nice.
The free parking was a major plus.
(We chose the hotel for the half board, heated pool, and free parking., all at a very good price. And we were quite satisfied.)
It was a great stay and very good value for the money.
What could be improved: 1) We had been led to believe that the hotel had a gym or fitness room. It does not. (Perhaps it had in the past.).
The (lack of) fitness room was a problem for us -- I suppose that if I knew in advance, I might have brought some weights. I think the hotel would do well to put in a small fitness room. If we stay again, I will bring my exercise stuffl
2)The pool hours were a bit too limiting --- not being open in the evenings. It would have been nice to go into a heated pool late in the evening after having been out all day.
3) The "open bar" was, on the one hand, nice because I wasn't expecting it, On the other hand it had a very limited selection. And the provided "cake" were actually cookies. Still, very nice, and the person manning the bar was very nice.
4) The following is not a complaint -- there was clearly no view from the window -- but we knew that in advance and didn't expect one or care. We chose the hotel for the reasons stated in the preceding box and knew we were giving up a view (which for us was not a priority).
Clean, comfortable
The customer service was really great throughout the hotel and the surroundings were very clean the food was good as well and I loved the massage chair
What could be improved: The pool could have been a bit warmer and cleaner and the view could have been better
Great
Food
What could be improved: The stAff in the swimming 🏊 pool are very rude to my daughter 👧 dont know how to talk nicely
The staff was wonderful. The meal buffets had wonderful choices and was delicious. Having free snacks in the afternoon was great. The free drinks were really terrific too.
What could be improved: One night was very chaotic at the dinner buffet...it was just very crowded in the hotel.
Food was good. Staffis very pleasant
welcoming staff, good value for money
What could be improved: almost no parking around the hotel
not enough options for vegetarians at dinner
