Eilot
Your Eilat Retreat
First Impressions
Walking up to Eilot on a quiet side street in Eilat, you might wonder if you’re in the right place — and that’s actually part of its charm. This three-star hotel doesn’t try to wow you with flashy lobbies or marble everything. Instead, it feels like stumbling upon a well-kept secret that locals might recommend when the big resorts are overpriced and overcrowded.
Location That Actually Works
Here’s what I really appreciated: you’re close enough to hear the Red Sea calling, but far enough from the main tourist drag to actually get some sleep. Eilot Street feels residential — there are actual Israeli families living nearby, not just tour groups shuffling between buffets. The beach is maybe a 10-minute walk, which honestly beats being stuck in some massive resort where it takes that long just to find the elevator.
The Room Reality
Look, the room won’t make your Instagram feed explode, but it’s clean and functional in that straightforward Israeli way. The air conditioning actually works (crucial in Eilat’s heat), and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without tripping over your suitcase. The beds are firmer than what Americans might expect, but I slept well. What surprised me was how quiet it gets at night — you’d think being in the city center would mean noise, but this little pocket stays pretty peaceful.
Getting Around and Exploring
The hotel sits in this interesting spot where you can walk to the central bus station if you’re planning day trips to Petra or just want to explore other parts of Eilat without renting a car. There’s a small grocery store around the corner — handy for grabbing water bottles and snacks before heading out for the day. The staff actually knows the area well, which sounds obvious but isn’t always the case at bigger places where everyone’s just reading from a script.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
With an 8.6 rating, Eilot clearly does something right, and I think it’s the lack of pretense. You’re not paying for amenities you won’t use or services that feel forced. It’s straightforward hospitality — the kind where the front desk remembers your name after the first day and can give you actual directions instead of just pointing toward the tourist areas. If you’re the type who’d rather spend money on experiences than thread counts, this place makes a lot of sense. Plus, parking is included, which anyone who’s driven in Eilat will tell you is worth its weight in gold.
Hotels near me in Eilat keep guests close to dolphin reefs, underwater observatories, and duty-free boutiques.

Guest Reviews
Loved the location, residential area with lots of facilities, playground.
The apartment was comfortable and very clean.
What could be improved: The flies.
The weather outside was pleasant. We left the windows open for some fresh air, and there were many. All night long.
My child woke up covered with bites.
I wish the windows had nets to protect from them.
The place is clean and equipped with everything needed.
Well equipped in terms of kitchen and appliances, very comfortable beds, great AC. TVs with Netflix, good location
All in all a great place to stay!!
What could be improved: Nothing specific I can think of
Beautiful apartment, very clean, excellent facilities - loved it!
מתאים ללילה ולזוג
Situated in a quiet residential neighborhood, close to the center of the city and the sea, but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. There is enough parking space near the property. A supermarket nearby. Keys were waiting for me in a locker, very easy to check in check out... Spacy kitchen with everything needed. Clean and spacy bathroom. Clean bedding and towels. The host answered all my questions in a friendly and timely manner..
What could be improved: I can't really find something I didn't like... I will definitely recommend this place. I will look for it next time I go to Eilat. We really enjoyed our stay
Everything was great and above expectations
The location is walking distance to the Promenade. Automatic check-in via code key.
The "One-Bedroom Apartment - Ground Floor" is comfortable, equipped kitchen. Everything was clean.
Good value.
What could be improved: The bathroom and the bedroom have no windows. The living room has a small window. The bathroom entrance is from the bedroom, so if someone sleeps on the living room sofa - they need to pass throug hthe bedroom on their way to the bathroom.
I had an insure with swimming, and ask'd the owner if he know a place where i can buy a walking stick.
He showd up an hour later with an old walking stick in his hand gave it to me for free. 🫶
Easy access, comfortable, as advertised
What could be improved: Steep climb up/down to the waterfront
