The building itself is pretty modest — don’t expect flashy lobbies or marble everywhere — but there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup. It’s the kind of three-star place where you immediately feel like you can just relax without worrying about whether your flip-flops are appropriate for the lobby.

Location & Getting Around

Here’s what I actually love about the location: you’re close enough to everything that matters, but far enough from the main drag that you won’t hear tour groups gathering at 6 AM. The beach is maybe a 10-minute walk, and you know what? That walk takes you through some of Eilat’s residential streets where you’ll see how locals actually live. There’s a small grocery store practically next door, which becomes essential when you realize how much those resort mini-bars will cost you.

The Rooms

The room I stayed in was clean and functional — think IKEA meets Middle Eastern practicality. The air conditioning works well (crucial in Eilat’s heat), and the beds are actually comfortable, though the pillows could use some work. What surprised me was the little kitchenette setup; nothing fancy, but you can make coffee in the morning without having to get dressed and venture out. The bathroom’s compact but everything works, and honestly, when you’re spending most of your day exploring the Red Sea, that’s really all you need.

The Experience

The staff here genuinely seems to care about helping you figure out Eilat, which isn’t something you always get at bigger places. They’ll tell you which bus to take to the underwater observatory (and which times to avoid the crowds), or where to find decent shawarma that won’t break your budget. There’s no fancy spa or multiple restaurants, but there’s a small dining area where they serve breakfast — nothing elaborate, but the Israeli salad is fresh and the coffee’s decent.
