Astral Village Hotel
Your Eilat Retreat
First Impressions
Walking into Astral Village Hotel, you immediately know this isn’t your typical Eilat resort. It’s one of those boutique places that doesn’t bother with official star ratings because, honestly, it doesn’t need the validation. The lobby has this relaxed, almost residential feel — like you’re staying at a well-designed friend’s place rather than a commercial hotel.
The Neighborhood Vibe
What I really appreciate about the location on Kamen Street is that you’re close enough to everything without being in the thick of Eilat’s sometimes overwhelming tourist chaos. The Red Sea is practically on your doorstep, but you can actually walk to local spots that aren’t completely overrun with tour groups. You know what I mean — those little places where you might hear more Hebrew than English, which always feels like you’re getting the real experience.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this quirky charm that you don’t get at the big chain hotels. Nothing felt cookie-cutter about it — the furniture had character, and there were these thoughtful touches that made it clear someone actually designed this space rather than just ordering everything from a hotel catalog. The air conditioning works well (crucial in Eilat’s heat), and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night.
Daily Rhythms
Mornings here have a different pace than at the massive resort complexes down the coast. The restaurant serves breakfast that feels more like what locals might eat rather than the standard international buffet spread — though don’t worry, there are familiar options too. The staff genuinely seems to remember guests’ names and preferences, which is refreshing when you’re used to being just another room number.
Why Guests Love It
Look, this place isn’t going to wow you with flashy amenities or over-the-top service. But that’s actually its strength — it feels authentic in a city where a lot of hotels can feel pretty manufactured. The 7.3 rating makes sense to me; it’s solid without being perfect, comfortable without being pretentious. If you’re the type who’d rather have character than predictable polish, and you want to experience Eilat without feeling like you’re in a vacation bubble, this boutique spot delivers exactly that.

Guest Reviews
The breakfast was more than adequate. Many things to choose from. Staff were very helpful.
What could be improved: Too far from the beach by foot. Same for the promenade.
very nice hotel - cosy (like family resort)
very good food and staff
Room clean, newly renovated and comfy
What could be improved: Old fashioned
Nice place and clean
What could be improved: The mattress was hard
The place is very clean and cozy, with a unique atmosphere
What could be improved: Although the front desk staff are friendly, they don’t seem very professional
I never stay long,so I don't mind
What could be improved: Nothing
The staff are very polite, professional, and nice! I think it was one of the best services I have ever had, they were so professional and patient even when they have to deal with some annoying people
And the location is 10/10, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and the Ice-Mall!
The concept if the rooms is very cool and comfortable.
What could be improved: It is not really the problem of the staff and the hotel, but the pool was an unbearable place to be in. So many ‘arsim’ with their loud annoying music, that each group has to put on their own music and it becomes a loud place and very uncomfortable.
I saw one of the staff members tried to tell them to turn off the music, because it was too loud and depressing music, and he even went and put some nice pop from the hotel speakers, but after only 5 minutes the ‘arsim’ yelled at him that they can’t hear his music (a lie of course) and turned back their disgusting music… and the poor staff member couldn’t do much because they were quite drunk and aggressive and he didn’t want to cause any trouble (respect to the staff member, he should get a rise in his salary)
Anyway, mind the type of people that come to this hotel, they are not very pleasant.
And the food was ok, but I guess it is fine for the price
The staff is amazing. Polite, lots of patience for any type of customers
What could be improved: No parking, checkin process ineffective with 22 people stuck infront of the check in counter foe 40, 50 minutes.
Breakfast was decent and rich, variety of cheese, vegetable, salads drink & coffee.
The refurbished room looks great.
Can gather around the garden with friends - very nice athmosphere
What could be improved: Hot water was not stable, the bathroom had ants & not enough parking space available.
the staff need to give better service.
the room is small
Very nice hotel and pool vibe like a real village, lobby is outstanding and very stylish
What could be improved: Cleaning must be better
